Sotrio Vineyards & Winery

The Client's Roots

Owners of a brand new vineyard in Ronda, NC, Bill and Teresa Piastuch created Sotrio Vineyards and Winery in 2018 and took the leap into the world of wine. Together they journeyed through planting the first grapes, harvesting, and building their tasting room from the ground up with a projected opening date of summer 2024.

How the Business Bloomed

With an open mind, Bill and Teresa wanted a simple logo and gave us full creative direction for the brand. The logo must be able to be produced in a variety of sizes and translate to 1 color easily. Business cards and website should be attractive as people will see those before their opening, and bottle labels should be easy to adapt for changes, match the brand, and be inticing.

We created the logo to highlight a main feature on their property, a giant oak tree that towers above the rest. We designed the icon to come out of the 't" in Sotrio to help with the pronunciation of the business "so-tree-oh."

The Sotrio brand is evolving month by month as Bill and Teresa make progress towards their grand opening. They have an attractive website with a blog for updates, social media, email-blasts; a stunning set of business cards to hand out, and their first-ever bottle labels will be a memorable and big hit for consumers.
